Summary

Serves as Project Engineer on assigned engineering activities associated with the environmental, construction, and operations and maintenance projects administered by Niagara Falls Storage Site (NFSS) Integrated Technical Office (ITO).



Duties
  • Serves as a contracting officer’s representative (COR) for Firm Fixed Price and Cost Reimbursable Contracts
  • Manages and conducts detailed inspections of remediation and construction activities
  • Performs preparation of both partial and final pay estimates
  • Participates in design review meetings with agency designers and/or engineer architects; recommends changes where needed
  • Makes periodic checks of contractors’ work for overall compliance with Plans and Specifications and construction requirements.
  • Participates in all phases of the modification process
  • Communicates effectively with the project delivery team (PDT)
