Summary

This position is located within the Tennessee State Office. Incumbent serves as a senior loan specialist in the Single Family Housing (SFH) Program of a USDA Rural Development State or Field Office. The staff designs/implements/evaluates assigned housing programs for Tennessee. The incumbent implements complex loan/grant programs and provides matrix leadership to a group of operating loan specialists/technicians in carrying out the SFH Programs of the agency.

This is not a remote position.



Duties
  • Assists the program director administer SFH programs in an assigned area.
  • Tailors program delivery (available loan and grant programs) considering factors such as adverse geographic considerations, persistent poverty, low to very low income borrowers, unavailability of affordable housing.
  • Responsible for resolving escalated servicing problems.
  • Responsible for resolving escalated servicing problems.
  • Responsible for providing training to staff and RD customers on housing programs.
