Per-service core musician, with chamber music & education/community engagement duties


2024-25 Season: August 22, 2024 - May 4, 2025

- 9 concert cycles total plus additional chamber and small ensemble engagements throughout the season - total number of services no less than 40

- Service pay for for this position is negotiated

- Paid travel at $0.67 per mile, maximum 500 miles

- Savannah Philharmonic provides housing per each cycle


Audition Dates

First Round: The online audition submission window is February 7-April 9, 2024 through the “Accept’d” platform.

FINAL Rounds: Final rounds will be held LIVE Tuesday, June 11 & Wednesday, June 12 in Savannah, GA.


Audition Information

Interested applicants should submit an unedited video and one-page resumé including at least one personal and one professional reference in PDF format through “Accept’d” platform during the application window of February 7-April 9, 2024. Please see the repertoire list for specific details regarding excerpts and formatting.


All applicants will be notified via email by April 12, 2024 whether or not they have been invited to the LIVE Final Round audition.


A $35 fee is required to submit these materials - paid directly to “Accept’d” at the time of submission.


Additional positions within the violin sections may also be filled through this audition.


Please note that in order to audition, a candidate must already possess all documentation that allows him/her to work legally in the United States.


Prior to being offered employment with the SPC, all potential employees are subject to the SPC’s administrative hiring procedures, including, but not limited to, reference checks, background checks, etc.
