Summary

Position will require travel to Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Lehigh, Estero and Bonita.Provides specific activities of daily living for clients such as, bathing, grooming, ambulating, and transferring for varied time frames to include 12-hour visits in a clients home or ALF. Observes client condition, documents condition and reports changes according to the Care Plan.
Teamwork, flexibility, and professionalism, while important in all functions of the System, are central to the success of the Home Health Team, and are expected in this role. Duties will include covering weekends as needed and team member PTO, requested office tasks, and traveling outside normal work area regions to meet the needs of our patient caseload and the needs of the organization. Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Two (2) years experience as a Home Health Aide required.

Certification: BLS (American Heart Association/Basic Life Support) required. HHA (Home Health Aide) certificate or class curriculum if CNA applies twenty (20) hours HHA class will be provided.

License: Valid Florida drivers license within 30 days of employment; reliable means of transportation & current automobile Insurance

Other: Interpersonal, customer relations, communication, housekeeping, and food handling skills. Telephone accessibility; ability to read, write and understand the English language; ability to perform basic math, grammar & spelling skills.
