Treasury Analyst

The treasury analyst assists and monitors the day–to-day North America Oracle Cash Management activities. This person will ensure the cash flow analysis, liquidity, and reporting of related system activities. Additional responsibilities include management of global netting activities and operational support. They will also assist in meeting overall treasury department’s policies and regulatory requirements.

This is a Hybrid role based out of our Nashville office.

The Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate cash forecasts by monitoring bank accounts, analyzing trends, and ensuring availability of required cash resources

  • Preparing and presenting treasury reports, forecasts, and strategies to management

  • Support Cash Management systems

  • Participate in management of global intercompany netting activity

  • Participate in management of debt activity

  • Support Treasury projects and initiatives in varied way through involvement with process implementation, requirements gathering, gap analysis, roll out process/procedures, and training

  • Complete ad hoc projects and analyses as required

  • Perform daily Treasury activities such as liquidity analysis, releasing fund transfers, and journal entry review

  • Advise financial operations on movement of funds

  • Work closely with functional areas, such as tax, accounting, payroll, A/P, A/R, IT to support business requirements

  • Identify and drive process improvements in treasury operations, utilizing treasury management system, banking platforms and other analytical tools

  • Recommend and implement solutions to strengthen operational controls and incorporate best practices

  • Maintain updated policy and procedure manuals

The Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in treasury and/or accounting

  • Experience with financial management systems, such as Oracle and IT2

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business is preferred

  • CTP is preferred

  • Strong treasury background

  • Knowledge of appropriate treasury software packages

  • Knowledge of banking industry, services and processes

  • Knowledge of MS Office including excel
