- Schedule would include day shifts (8a-6p), night shifts (5p-8a), or 24-hours (8a-8a)
- Weekends and holidays required as needed
Clinical Details
- Level III Perinatal NICU
- Inpatient
- 48 bed with stepdown unit
- Average Number of Cases per day: Average 8-10 on each NNP team
- Overnight covers both NNP teams; cover deliveries and transition nursery
- Level I Trauma Center
Requirements
- NCC Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
- NRP Certificate
- Active IL License - Highly Preferred
- or willing to obtain
- BLS (AHA)
- Clean malpractice/history - Highly Preferred
- Covid vaccinated
- Procedures Required:
- Lumbar Punctures
- Intubations
- UAC/UVC
- PAL
- PICC
- Needle aspiration/chest tube
- Arterial sticks
- Delivery Attendance
Support Staff
- 24-hour physician in-house coverage
- RNs, Techs/Assistants, etc.
EMR
- Epic
