Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Otolaryngologist to join its medical staff The Medical Center is a 358-bed, acute-care hospital with an adjacent psychiatric hospital which is the designated State acute mental health facility for a 21-county region in Eastern Kentucky. It also features an Accredited Chest Pain Center; Level II Nursery, Accredited Cancer Center, Accredited Breast Center, and is proud to be the first Eastern Kentucky hospital to join the UK Stroke Affiliate Network. The hospital supports a Family Medicine Residency, Nursing and Allied Health educational programs through the University of Kentucky.

About the Area:
This community is located in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains in Eastern KY. It is found at the crossroads of Highways 15 and 80 and the Hal Rogers Parkway (formerly the Daniel Boone Parkway). From the mammoth caves and lakes of western Kentucky to horse and bourbon country s rolling hills and the Appalachian Mountains scenic beauty in the east, Kentucky is full of breathtaking natural attractions worth experiencing. It is the home of the longest cave system in the world (367 miles) at Mammoth Cave National Park. The Land Between the Lakes features more than 170,000 acres and 300 miles of undeveloped shoreline. Cumberland Falls State Park is the home to spectacular Kentucky waterfalls as well as the famous moon bow. Other natural attractions include the Daniel Boone National Forest, the Red River Gorge and dozens of lakes, preserves, Kentucky hiking trails and more.
