Neonatal APP

The neonatal nurse practitioner or PA is an advanced practice provider who demonstrates expertise in the clinical management of the neonate and infant. The provider role is multi-faceted and includes clinical management of the high risk neonate and infant, educational responsibilities, administrative duties, consulting, and initiating/implementing research. The neonatal nurse provider works in collaboration with medical, nursing and support services to provide family centered care. The neonatal nurse provider maintains active participation in his/her own continued education and professional development.
Work Location: HCA Florida Trinity Hospital, 9330 FL-54, Trinity 34655
Work Hours: Work Hours: 7 24 hr. shifts in 4 weeks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Clinical Master's Degree in Nursing or DNP, Masters in Physician Assistant Studies
• Current Florida State Licensure as APRN or a PA.
• Current BLS and PALS (NRP in lieu of PALS if NNP).
• Current Licensure in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse/Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, or PA.
• Current National Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or a PA
Requires 3 years of Level III or greater NICU experience
