Pediatric Pulmonology Full-Time position in Madison, Wisconsin

**Job Summary:**
The Division of Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine within the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is recruiting a Pediatric Pulmonologist to join our growing team. We are looking for candidates with a track record of clinical excellence and academic contributions as demonstrated through training and/or practice experience.
The division provides family-centered, community-based, culturally competent, coordinated, and interdisciplinary care. The multidisciplinary team consists of five faculty, a clinical team of advanced practice providers and nurses, respiratory therapists, dieticians, physical and occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, social workers, behavioral psychologists, and research coordinators. We have a robust outpatient pediatric sleep program and a sleep laboratory in which to perform polysomnography and treat children with a variety of sleep-related problems. The division also has active clinical and research programs in a number of other areas including cystic fibrosis, neuromuscular respiratory disease, aero digestive issues, broncho pulmonary dysplasia, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary hypertension. The division staffs one of the top cystic fibrosis centers in the nation and is part of the Cystic Fibrosis Therapeutic Development Network.
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is a vibrant academic department comprising more than 200 faculty members in 16 subspecialty divisions. The department promotes and enhances the health of children through outstanding clinical care, exemplary education of pediatric trainees, performance of cutting-edge research, and vigorous advocacy.
**Qualifications:**
* Completion of an ACGME-approved pediatric residency program is required.
* Completion of an accredited fellowship program in Pediatric Pulmonology is required.
* Experience in an academic medical setting preferred.
* For an appointment at Associate Professor or Professor rank on the CHS or CT Track, candidates will meet criteria established by the department as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment or promotion to Associate Professor or Professor on the CHS or CT Track.
