Employed by PAGNY for NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, Kings County Hospital operates a world-renowned Level 1 Trauma Center, one of only three in Brooklyn, which serves 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island. The hospital is academically affiliated with SUNY Downstate Medical Center. 

Kings County is located in the East Flatbush/Prospect-Lefferts section of Brooklyn, close to the 2 and 5 subways. Our patients are diverse, with the majority being Afro-Caribbean. Most of our patients are native English speakers. Knowledge of French/Haitian Creole is helpful, but not required. Responsibilities

Provide inpatient and outpatient Gastrointestinal carePerform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopies and colonoscopies Supervise and mentor gastroenterology fellows and medicine residents assigned to the gastroenterology and hepatology servicePartake in shared weekend and evening call coverage for gastroenterology services at H+H/Kings County and SUNY Downstate Medical CenterAcademic appointment at SUNY Downstate Medical Center Applicants with an interest in motility are encouraged to applyQualificationsCurrent licensed NY State registration (or the ability to obtain one)Board Certified/Board Eligible in GastroenterologyGraduate from approved Medical SchoolPlease note that proof of full COVID-19 vaccination is required prior to hire
