Practice Highlights:
Practice in a hospital with four operating rooms. Anesthesia Care Team Model is used. A broad spectrum of cases except cardiac, thoracic, and neurosurgery. Lots of Regional Anesthesia. The anesthesia Department manages the OR schedule 75% of your time doing your cases, 25% of your time medically directing CRNAs or teaching Residents Robust EHR (EPIC 10-star health system, top 1% of EPIC organizations)

Limited call schedule Generous paid time off annually, in addition to holidays and sick time
Comprehensive Compensation and Benefits:
$454,000 to $540,000 total annual compensation Full benefits including medical, dental, vision and disability insurance Malpractice/Liability Insurance, including tail coverage Guthrie retirement savings plan (403B) with employer match and age-based contributions Allowance for licensure fees, DEA certification, and renewals $10,000 referral bonus if you refer a physician that we hire on a full-time basis, $20,000 if the physician is an Anesthesiologist
Career Development:
Meeting time – 14 days with options for home study $3,400 annually for conference registration, certifications, and membership fees for specialty-specific medical societies Teaching – Guthrie has seven residency programs, including the Anesthesiology Residency. Guthrie is a regional campus of the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. Physician mentoring and leadership training opportunities are available.
