Summary

The Department of Music at Saint Xavier University is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach K-12 General Music.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Teach K-12 General Music methods for music education majors. Utilize our Learning Management System (Canvas) for course materials and grade book. Adjunct instructors are expected to hold weekly office hours, develop and grade appropriate assignments, and communicate with students in a timely manner. All adjunct music faculty report to the Arts & Humanities Division Director.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have a graduate degree in Music. An earned master's degree or higher in music education is preferred. Highly sought-after candidates will have experience teaching music at the K-12 or collegiate level.
