The Rooms Coordinator will primarily support the Front Office and Housekeeping Operations by managing the communication between different departments of the hotel and with guests. They may also be responsible for managing housekeeping boards, taking work order calls to track and place, purchase orders, lost and found management, guest text and phone communication, guest service administrative support, and more. The role will engage with several software platforms, so efficient use of technology is a required skillset. The Rooms Coordinator must be flexible to assist in all areas of the hotel and be prepared to complete tasks not listed in this description as needed.
Qualifications:
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual skill set is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
- 1 year of administrative or hotel experience is preferred
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage resolutions for any guest challenges that arise
- Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
- Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
- Must have flexible schedule and ability to work weekends and holidays.
