Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the STRL DHA Bachelor or Advanced Degree. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties
  • You will serve as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for the Point Mugu Sea Range (PMSR) Enterprise Systems Branch.
  • You will ensure that all users have the requisite security clearances, supervisory need-to-know authorizations, and awareness of responsibilities before being granted access to DoD Information Systems (IS).
  • You will initiate protective or corrective measures when an incident or vulnerability is discovered.
  • You will ensure that IS and IS-enabled software, hardware, and firmware comply with appropriate security configuration guidelines and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).
  • You will implement and enforce all DoD IS policies and procedures, and enforce security policies and safeguards on all personnel having access to IS.
  • You will work with physical security personnel to ensure the physical protection of IS assets, conducts security audits, and ensure audit trails are reviewed periodically and archived for future reference.
