Position Highlights:
The Ochsner Clinic Department of Urology is seeking a faculty member to serve as Section Head of Urologic Reconstruction.
Candidates must be board certified and have completed a fellowship in reconstructive surgery. The Section Head will:
- Provide leadership, direction, and coordination of clinical academic and research endeavors in reconstruction urology
- Grow reconstructive urology practice at our tertiary care campus as well as support Ochsner Clinic s growing gender affirmation program.
- expectation would also include academic involvement with the education and training of residents and medical students as well as clinical research activity.
- Collaborate with leadership to expand reconstructive urology programs in the health system.
- Lead a multidisciplinary care team in reconstruction urology
The successful candidate for Section Head Urologic Reconstruction will be a respected Urologist with a track record of excellence in clinical care, research, and education. Academic rank and compensation package will be commensurate with academic qualifications and experience.
