The working title for this position is Linux Security/System Administrator. As a Linux Security/System Administrator, you will perform the following duties:
Remediates system vulnerabilities through patch management, applying standardized security baseline configurations to systems; and monthly scanning and reporting to validate IT security compliance.
Maintains and configures Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers and workstations. Ensures optimal technical operation, maintenance and support of the enterprise Linux environment for robust and reliable performance.
Monitors and provides system administration of data flow and services to meet operational and organizational needs, as well as installing, configuring, modifying, maintaining, troubleshooting, and documenting applications and scripts in a Linux environment.
