To prospective teammates,
I m the medical director for the Medical University of South Carolina Health in Orangeburg and Bamberg, South Carolina. I have been a part of Sound for over four years; it s a great workplace I m proud of the emergency medicine practice we have built and welcome interest from physician assistants interested in learning more. I d like to share more about it, specifically about our people, practice, and purpose, as you consider your next steps:
People- We are a closely-knit, established team of 20 physicians and seven advanced practice providers (APPs). Our team has a wide variety of experience, ranging from newly trained residents to seasoned physicians with over three decades of clinical expertise.

- We re searching for physicians dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. Our team is known for its reliability and easy-to-work-with nature.
- Our practice covers the full spectrum of emergency medicine, encompassing all the procedures you ve honed during your Emergency Medicine residency.
- Our caseload exposes you to diverse pathology, providing a unique experience.
- We actively participate in multiple hospital committees and wholeheartedly invite our team members to join these initiatives as they see fit. There s no pressure to do so; it s entirely your choice.
