Hourly Rate: $22.19 an hour

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Operator (shuttle Truck) is responsible for driving a medium-duty 26ft box truck (max GVW of 26,000lbs). CDL not required Will also be responsible with forklift and handling all shipping and receiving duties, while maintaining a safe working environment. Primary activity of moving materials and equipment from offsite warehouse to plant Warehouse. The Warehouse Operator will also be responsible for material handling, using an RF gun to process and track inventory, and transporting materials throughout the facility and between the 2 sites. Warehouse employees are required to work in various areas as assigned, including the cooler and freezer, and reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary operator of medium-duty box truck for site.Ability to maintain fuel card and fill truck as needed with diesel fuelAbility to identify mechanical issues with truck and elevate for serviceDriver will be responsible for filling truck and offloading truck for each load moved, in tandem with Warehouse teams at both sites.Transporting raw materials, finished goods, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift, reach truck, dock stocker, ride-on pallet jack or ASRS systemUsing an RF gun to perform transactions, including: receiving, put away, transfers, and performing inventory inquiriesConducting pre-shift inspections on equipment to ensure safe use during the day and communicating any issues to Warehouse SupervisorsPerforming vehicle inspections by checking tires, lights, brakes, and the reefer unitMaintaining a clean working environmentAble to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 30lbs frequentlyAble to lift, push, pull, up to 50lbs occasionallyPerforming basic preventive maintenance and maintenance tasks as assignedInforming Warehouse Supervisors of raw material shortagesAdhering to the Company's safety policies and proceduresWorking in other areas as needed to help the businessVerify each pallet moved is the correct item, lot, weight, or quantity and scanned to the correct physical location.Work in a cold environment, 0 degrees.Work overtime as required to achieve production and shipping schedules.Other duties as assigned
Education:
High School Diploma or GED requiredAssociate's degree in business or related field preferredCDL not required, but a plus
Minimum Requirements:
Must have forklift experienceMust have experience driving a light duty vehicle in work experienceMust hold an active driver's license in state where you resideNo DUI in the past 7 yearsNo recordable at fault accidents in the past 3 yearsNo moving violations in the past 12 monthsNo more than 2 points on driving recordDrivers must have the ability to pass a DOT physical (Conagra will provide access to physical)
