Speech-Language Pathologist Position Summary

The Speech-Language Pathologist is a licensed professional who is responsible and accountable for the planning, implementation, and delivery of speech pathology services to ensure positive patient outcomes. The Speech-Language Pathologist is involved in assisting the supervisor in compiling reports, data, etc. The SLP is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of disorders affecting speech, language, voice, swallow, and cognitive-communicative function for inpatient and outpatient populations.

Speech-Language Pathology Position Requirements

Education
Masters Degree required from an accredited university in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders. Current Maryland Licensure. Licensure requires 20 CEU's per two (2) years.CPR certification. Holds a certificate of clinical competency in the area of Speech-Language Pathology or CFY eligible.
Experience
One (1) year clinical experience in an acute care setting, will consider exceptional CFY.
Speech Pathologist Schedule
Expected to work Monday through Friday and weekends as needed.Must be willing to work in an emergency.
Speech Pathologist Benefits
