This position reports to the Production Supervisor for the general monitoring and coordination of daily operations of one or more areas of a manufacturing facility such as material handling, machining, assembly, electronic assembly, finishing, inventory control and other related manufacturing areas of the domestic TWG brands

 

Essential Responsibilities:  

  • Oversees, monitors and safely coordinates production team activities as directed including training employees, planning, assigning and directing work.
  • Works with other functional areas to maintain production schedules.
  • Review procedures and organizes methods, materials and equipment to ensure accurate, on time delivery of quality products. 
  • Works closely with supervisor on employee matters.
  • Suggests changes in working conditions, processes and use of equipment to improve KPI’s.
  • Reports machine and equipment malfunctions to supervisor and maintenance.
  • Helps in other departments as requested.
  • Performs required work in specific departments including, but not limited to, tooling installation, machine set up and operation, material handling, assembly, inventory control and other departments as required.
  • Required to maintain accurate and timely transactions in the ERP system.
  • May be required to train other employees and help in other departments as directed.
  • This position is also responsible for, with authority to follow ISO procedures, initiate action to prevent problems, document quality problems, contribute to problem solutions, verify implementation of solutions, control further processing when a problem is identified, protect the environment, including preventing pollution, analyzing or identifying areas for correction or improvement.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to travel as required and /or directed.
