The Department of Anesthesiology at City of Hope National Medical Center is seeking a physician to meet the needs of our growing program on the Duarte campus.
This position is a rare opportunity to work in a 450+ member integrated, multidisciplinary Medical Group Practice serving an NCI designated comprehensive cancer center in highly desirable Southern California, within our established Department of Anesthesiology. City of Hope is an expanding institution in both numbers of patients per year as well as infrastructure investment in clinical, academic and research facilities. This is a timely recruitment, and we will begin interviewing immediately.
Primary Responsibilities:
Join our nationally recognized team of medical, surgical, and radiation cancer specialists as we seek to add a full-time clinician to our Department of Anesthesiology.
Department currently includes Physicians and CRNAsEffort allocation: 95% ClinicalAbout 50% / 50% supervision vs independentOpportunity for academic advancement and quality improvementCover only one location at Duarte campusInpatient hospital/outpatient surgery center: 19 sites (ORs, procedure rooms and NORA)No in house callNo cardiac, no trauma, no OB. Additional recruitment incentives availableAdditional hourly pay for time exceeding assigned shift: current average $7500 per/monthAnesthesiologists working in Duarte are eligible for call payAdditional weekend coverage pay: $20k for 5 weekends per year
