My client, a series C Hyper-growth Cyber Security scale-up collaborating with leading brands across the Automotive industry is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their team.

 

This is a permanent role and will be remote. In terms of salary, this will be market leading and additional benefits will include equity and a bonus scheme.

 

Role Overview

As a Site Reliability Engineer you will work closely with the development and management teams to bring collective ideas to life.

 

In this role, you will focus on operations to ensure scalability, service reliability, capacity, and performance. You will design and maintain our innovative, highly scalable, and high-performance automotive security solution

 

Responsibilities 

  • Implement and operate a high scale Software as a Service (SaaS) solution
  • Implement and operate cloud infrastructure in AWS / Azure
  • Responsible for Upstream and our customers infrastructure and monitoring
  • Rollout processes for new functionality introduced to the cloud infrastructure by the team
  • Cloud and Product security
  • Troubleshoot problems
  • Supporting the companyâs core technology and engineering systems.

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of SRE/ Ops Engineer experience
  • Experienced with Kubernetes, Gitops, Docker and in Production systems is a must
  • Experienced with Linux Systems - high level of scripting in Bash / Python
  • Experienced with implementation in a SaaS/PaaS architecture
  • 3+ years of experience in AWS / Azure/ GCP- advantage
  • Understanding of Microservices concepts 
  • Experienced with Helm 2+3, Kafka, Logstash, Spark/HDFS
  • Experienced with monitoring systems
  • Experienced with troubleshooting capabilities
  • Experienced with MySQL / PostgreSQL / RedShift / Presto
  • Experienced with OpenShift operators
  • Experienced working within a scale-up/start-up environment
