Geisinger is seeking a BC/BE EMS fellowship-trained Emergency Medicine physician to join the Emergency Medicine team at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Job Duties
This role will contribute to the growth of Geisinger’s EMS service by providing:
EMS Medical Direction in Rural/Suburban setting
Oversight for health system-owned EMS Agency as well as oversight with community partner EMSCritical Care Transport medical directionSpecial Operations EMS
Special Event/Mass GatheringPSAP Medical DirectionTactical EMSEMS Education - Geisinger EMS Training Institute, Community Partners, EMS Apprenticeship. Also educational opportunities with the community college paramedic training institute.Potential core faculty opportunity with new EM residency programClinical Emergency Medicine – provide care at both community ED and tertiary care ED
