Manufacturing Welder

A local manufacturing company is seeking an Experienced Welder to join their team.

Responsibilities:
- Utilizes work orders, blueprints, sketches, written and verbal instructions to determine correct type of weld based on specifications.
- Support in-house customers.
- Portrays a customer service approach.
- Performs welding and/or assembly tasks utilizing standard welding equipment.
- Plans and performs weld set ups.
- Possess the ability to select proper fillers for jobs.
- Performs welding/cutting operations.
- Performs visual and dimensional inspections to verify compliance with specifications using a variety of tools.
- Maintains cleanliness of work area and ensures proper handling of tools, equipment, and stock to prevent loss.
- Conforms to departmental safety requirements.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Skills:
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be organized.
-Safety operate welding equipment performing basic operations

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
- Ability to pass a background check
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs and be able to stand, lift, twist and bend for an 8 hour shift
-Experience candidate in welding : 1- 2 years MIG/TIG is a plus

Schedule is 4-10's Monday- Thursday
