WAGE/HOUR STATUS: Nonexempt
REPORTS TO: Custodian Supervisor
Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures Ability to operate a buffer, wet and dry vacuum cleaners, push / automatic scrubbers, propane machine and stripping and waxing floors Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies Ability to work well with others Will be required to drive district vehicle Must meet CCISD driver guidelines Experience: One year floor maintenance experience preferred.
Daily contact with Team Leader & Custodian supervisor, if necessary, to get assignments.
Prepare list of supplies needed for floors, to include propane purchase and give to head custodian and custodial supervisor.
Report all machine repairs to Team Leader/ Custodial supervisor.
Additional Duties: Help with custodial staff in cleaning clasrooms,bathrooms,Hallways and move furniture and equipment if needed per Custodial Supervisor.
EQUIPMENT USED: Buffer, wet and dry vacuum cleaner, shampooer, cleaning supplies, push/automatic scrubbers, propane machine, stripping brush,pads,scrapers,safety boots,safety glasses, wax bucket/stick,adapter and pad.
