Job Summary/Overview

Reporting to the EVP Finance and Chief Financial Officer, the CFO, Americas will partner with the President of the Americas and provide financial oversight, drive sound financial decisions to support growth, and improve profitability and cash flow. The position is co-responsible for strategy development and execution through objective progress measurement and taking corrective actions when off course.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop, analyze, and interpret financial information to measure operating results including profitability, cash generation and working capital management. Measures performance against forecast, budget, and prior year.
  • Lead and direct business unit financial planning and analysis, reporting, accounting practices, budgeting, forecasting, and internal control requirements, and provide analytical support for new business proposals.
  • Provide business forecasts that convey timely insights into profit impacts of changes in revenue and cost, and develop and manage processes and systems to provide management team with timely financial and operational information regarding financial performance.
  • Develop and measure key performance metrics, analyze business trends, financial results and advise on the financial implications and consequences of business decisions in a timely manner. Identify and implement profit improvement opportunities.
  • Lead the implementation of financial related projects and system implementations.
  • Review audit findings and assist in the development of action plans and the implementation of the agreed-upon corrective measures.
  • Develop, review, communicate, and present strategic plans, operating budgets and forecasts. Analyze performance variances and develop root cause countermeasures as needed.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for corporate and business unit functions regarding financial matters.
  • Leads the business unit development and implementation of financial goals, policies, priorities, and financial strategy linked to KPI metrics.
  • Drive cash flow, working capital and inventory management initiatives. Initiate and optimize appropriate strategies to enhance cash flow and minimize working capital investments.
  • Regularly monitor and implement corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls.
  • Promote continuous improvement, efficiency and competence within the finance function to top quartile industry benchmark levels. Ensure timely, relevant and accurate services are provided by the function. Takes corrective actions when needed to ensure finance competency is at the appropriate level.
  • Work closely with staff, and assist in mentoring, coaching, training, and evaluating staff. Improve Finance team engagement.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by Chief Financial Officer.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills are required.
  • Ability to think strategically and deal with ambiguous/undefined problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Oracle FCCS, and PowerBI preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information to management.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Master's in Business Administration preferred.
  • CPA or CMA preferred.
  • 10+ years of corporate finance experience.
  • Experience working for a global publicly traded company is preferred.
  • Travel requirement ~25% domestically and internationally.
