POWDER ASSOCIATESun-Thurs: 3rd Shift (11pm - 7:30am) The Powder Associate performs all operations required to verify, document, assemble, mix, blend, and grind materials to create an accurate batch of product to meet customers specifications.
Communicate with QC, Supervisors, Team Leads, and other Powder Associates to attain and share critical information.
As part of the housekeeping procedures, the employee may be involved with the disposal of hazardous waste.
The initial training of how to properly dispose of hazardous waste will be performed by the Environmental and Safety Coordinator or the department supervisor.
Annual training of the same will be performed by the Environmental and Safety Coordinator.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Team Lead, Supervisor or Manager.
Preferred experience level: three to twelve months of related manufacturing experience with basic knowledge of paint formulation, mixing procedures, and the ability to use related manufacturing equipment such as mills and extruders.
Clean work habits and skill in handling large volumes of powder and raw materials.
