Cognizant is looking for a “Manager-Java & Aws” for developing customized product for our clients. The role is expected to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies.

Education Details: BS or Equivalent

Must Have Skills: Java REST Web API, Spring JPA, Spring Logging, Spring Cloud, Spring Boot, Microservices, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Core Java, Java Message Service, EJB, Angular 2+, AWS.

Job Location: McLean, VA(Hybrid)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• 14+ years of Core Java development experience, familiar with Java 8 or higher.

• Must have team lead experience to handle more than 4+ team.

• Able to deliver end to end project.

• Experience with java development and aware of java patterns.

• Experience in Spring Boot uses for development.

• Experience of development project and developed functionalities using java, j2ee.

• Experience on Angular 2+ development.

• Must have AWS experience.

• AWS services (S3, SQS, SNS, ECS, Lambda, AWS Cloud watch etc.)

• Experience on AWS deployed application.

• Experience on Oracle or Postgres or DynamoDB to perform SQL.

• Agile/scrum development experience.

• Good collaboration and communication skills.

• Ready to learn new technologies and perform POC on it.

• Ability to diagnose prod issues and defects.
