Summary

This position is located in the housing program of a USDA Rural Development State or Field Office. The incumbent administers complex aspects of the single family housing direct loan program for an assigned area.

Two positions to be filled. One position will be located in Auburn or Davis, CA and the second position will be located in Indio, CA.

THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION. THE SELECTEE WILL BE REQUIRED TO REPORT TO ONE OF THE LOCATIONS AS IDENTIFIED



Duties
  • Serves as a senior operating loan specialist responsible for the execution of applicable Single family housing department loan and grant programs.
  • Fosters mutually beneficial arrangements with such groups to maximize Single family housing program saturation, enhance community cohesiveness, and improve economic conditions in the area assigned.
  • Processes difficult aspects of non-centralized post-acceleration actions/foreclosures and may participate in tribal foreclosures, as applicable.
  • Administers the Single family housing repair loan and grant program for an assigned area.
  • Participates in program reviews/compliance audits, including developing/revising processes and procedures to correct deficiencies.
  • Executes repair loans and grants for single family dwellings, processes loan and grant applications from individual applicants.
