Urology Division Director

The Department of Surgery at the MetroHealth System, a major teaching affiliate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, is seeking a Board-certified Urologist to join our Department of Surgery as the Director of the Division of Urology. The MetroHealth System is a nationally recognized academic medical center and tertiary referral center in Cleveland, Ohio. As the Division Director, the candidate will have important responsibilities for program development and expansion, faculty recruitment, and mentoring and development of current faculty. The candidate will be part of an esteemed team, that provides a comprehensive spectrum of urological care. Our current faculty includes specialists in reconstructive urology, men's health, oncology, and endourology. The candidate will be responsible for developing and leading a multidisciplinary program of clinical excellence in urology and ensuring commitment to education of residents in our integrated urology residency training program and medical students. We value contributions to academic and research initiatives, emphasizing the importance of advancing the urology programs at MetroHealth.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be a Board-certified Urologist with a track record of leadership, clinical excellence, a strong commitment to education and teaching and involvement in research. Experience in laparoscopic and robotic surgery is preferred. We seek individuals who exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have a history of scholarly activity, including publications, presentations, or contributions to national committees and educational organizations. A commitment to education and academic leadership is essential.
