Our Mining & Heavy Equipment Dealership Group has an opening for a full-time, Customer Support Representative for the Mining division. The Customer Support Representative- Mining is responsible for promoting and selling Caterpillar parts and Ziegler's service capabilities to existing mining customers, while generating leads to sell to new customers. In addition, the Mining CSR is responsible for partnering with the internal Field Service Dispatchers and Shop Supervisors to coordinator customer repair work while frequently communicating parts availability and equipment repair status with customers.
Responsibilities:
Maintains customer records and tracks opportunities in the customer relationship management software, Sales Link, to include sales leads, sales and lost salesIdentifies prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferencesSells the value of Caterpillar parts and Ziegler's service capabilities through cost analysis, expertise, and availabilityPrepares accurate and timely quotes for customers on parts and repair work to be accomplished in Ziegler's shop or in the fieldEngages in the promotion and advancement of Ziegler's Mining GET programWorks with the mines to forecast planned maintenance of major componentsEvaluates major component exchange inventory program to ensure that the appropriate components are available Manages the Ziegler exchange undercarriage programWorks with the Ziegler mine managers to identify opportunities and help manage mine equipment fleets Resolves customer issues both within and out of the direct sales processConducts product training for customers and branch employees as necessaryAble to operate equipment safely
Qualifications:
2-year degree required; 4 year degree is preferred2+ years of related sales experience preferredMust be available during off hours and weekends to take calls from customers to handle emergency situationsStrong mechanical aptitude requiredExcellent communication skills - written and verbalSense of urgencyStrong customer service skillsResults-oriented and self-starterMust have and maintain a clean driving recordPersonal Attributes: Customer Focus, Achievement Orientation, Problem Solving, Planning and Organization and Teamwork

Push/pull up to 10 lbsLift up to 30 lbsCarry up to 50 lbsLift bulky objectsStanding, walking, using hands, talking, hearing, neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching.Working Conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be loud at times.
