Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester to join our dynamic QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. The Automation Tester will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to identify test requirements and deliver high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Test Plans:
Design and implement automated test scripts for new and existing features.
Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects and ensure software quality.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA analysts to understand project requirements and ensure test coverage.
Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings to provide updates on testing progress and contribute to sprint planning.
Maintain and Enhance Test Automation Framework:
Maintain existing test automation frameworks and suggest enhancements to improve efficiency and coverage.
Ensure the scalability and reliability of test automation solutions.
Identify and Report Defects:
Analyze test results, identify defects, and report them using bug-tracking systems.
Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues and retest fixed defects.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in test automation.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in testing.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
Proven experience as an Automation Tester or similar role in software testing.
Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.
Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker).
Skills:
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision.
