The Electrician will also diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.  This position covers all Central Coast plants from Solvang to Paso Robles.  A service truck will be provided for company-use only.

Compensation

$40.00 - $48.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
-Maintains and troubleshoots electrical equipment and power distribution throughout the plant
-Installs and maintains high, medium and low voltage power controls on equipment
-Performs necessary maintenance to the equipment and machinery to repair or replace the defective parts
-Performs adjustments and calibration procedures on various forms of process equipment
-Interprets electrical printouts, installation instructions and work orders

Education

High school diploma/GED

Requirements/Qualifications
-Industrial electrical experience or equivalent education
-Familiarity with NFP 70E
-Demonstrated experience and ability in mechanical, electrical and electronic maintenance troubleshooting techniques
-Knowledge of basic AC and DC control circuits as well as terminology of tools, prints and equipment
-Able to effectively communicate with other maintenance personnel, supervisors and management
-Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
-Electrical maintenance background at large processing facility (mine, pulp plant, steel mill etc.) preferred
-PLC implementation and troubleshooting experience preferred

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing.
