Job Summary and QualificationsWhat You Will Do In Your Role:
- Responsible for observing the monitor at all times, responding to alarms immediately and reports any changes to the team leader or nurse caring for the patient
- You will collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes
- Informs the Charge Nurse of any equipment malfunctions so repairs can be completed as needed
- You will contribute to the team work essential to ensuring quality patient care
- Promotes consistent, positive patient interactions
- You will have accountability for providing a safe patient environment
What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- High School Graduate / GED
This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
Portsmouth Regional Hospital is a 234-bed acute care hospital located in Portsmouth, NH. We serve the Seacoast regions residents in New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts. The hospital is one of the areas largest employers. We are the only ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center on New Hampshires Seacoast. Portsmouth Regional Hospital is the Seacoasts only comprehensive heart and vascular program. Also, the only Comprehensive Stroke Center on the Seacoast. We provide 7 comprehensive neurosurgical and stroke clot retrieval and aneurysm coiling programs for both ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes.
