Contract Duration: 12 Months
Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s/University degree. At least 1 year of experience working in Banking Operations or Middle Office. Good understanding of treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies. Strong MS Excel skills, including building spreadsheets and using macros. Good analytical skills and attention to detail. What You Will Be Doing Responsible for securities transaction processing execution, Securities Clearance Settlement. Provide analytic support to traders and support review of Depository Receipts. Support an diverse set of products services. Follow established procedures to identify problems related to securities and derivatives settlement that require investigation or research. Assist in resolving problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents. Deliver reports to satisfy management requirements, support control activities, and the launch of products services. Provide assistance in the implementation of process improvements. Minimize risk to the bank through increased knowledge of procedural requirements – understand and monitor errors to adhere to audit and control policies (including reconciliation, payment and other processing systems). Timely management and escalation of all requests inquiries issues errors post settlement and throughout the process. Demonstrate an intermediate level of understanding of products and processes, and of how duties relate integrate with others in the team and closely related teams. Demonstrate an excellent knowledge of bank related systems. Utilize strong communication, interpersonal and diplomacy skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders, and to exchange potentially complex sensitive information, while being sensitive to audience diversity.
