Foremost Farms USA is hiring a Production Supervisor to be a key leader at our Richland Center location. You'll have the opportunity to lead and supervise employees while producing cheese and other products for our customers in Wisconsin and around the world At Foremost, Production Supervisors participate on cross-functional teams to build a culture of operational excellence and innovation in processing, methods, productivity, Good Manufacturing Practices, safety and quality. You will be responsible for training and developing employees, managing schedules and bringing new ideas forward to continually improve FF's people, processes and products.

JOB DUTIES:

Supervise Production Associates in all aspects of their workincluding:prioritizing duties, delegating work assignments, and scheduling.

Coordinate sanitation reviewswith chemical suppliers. Coordinate, facilitate and document sanitation-related employee training.

Ensure all quality standards and procedures are maintained.

Developing instructional work guides and overseetraining of employees in the processes and methods required to achieve Foremost Farms standards for quality, quantity, and safety.

Assistin regulatory inspections and customer audits.

Coordinate special plant-wide functions such as production planning andscheduling, sanitation andsafety.

Act as a technical resource to respond toinquiries and problems regarding production, quality and work problems.

Completeproduction paperwork including records, inventory, inspection, sanitation reports, processing/CIP charts and maintenance work orders.

Administration of related company policies and procedures, including OSHA and safety, andproper administration of the collective bargaining agreement.

Stay actively involved in safety efforts:attendsafety meetings, participate in incident investigations, and assist in root cause analysis and auditing.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate degree in Dairy Manufacturing or related field is required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred to have 3 or more years of experience in dairy manufacturing or a related industry

Basic computer ability (MS Excel, Word, Outlook), English language skills, math and reasoning ability required

Lean manufacturing /Six Sigma knowledge preferred

Supervisory, leadership or mentoring skills strongly preferred

Must be able to obtain Cheese Maker s License, Cheese Grader s license, Buttermaker s license, Weigher s and Sampler s license, pasteurizer operator s certification, and wastewater treatment plant operator certification

Work Environment Employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne participles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Protective Equipment Protective equipment, such as hearing protection, bump cap, safety footwear, hair net and food safety related PPE or garb is required.
