Where: Sutter Health Park

We will be hiring for the following part-time positions:

  • Food & Beverage:
    • Bartenders
    • Concessions Attendants
    • Cooks
    • Suite Attendants
  • Parking Lot Attendants

General Requirements for these roles include:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Lift at least 10 pounds with or without assistance
  • Ability to move from one location to another throughout the ballpark

Bartenders:

Pay: $16.00/hr

  • Prepare and serve liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered.
  • Ensure fruit and other garnishes are prepared ahead of the opening of the bar.
  • Maintain the bar and keeps it clean and organized.
  • Attractively display glasses and liquor bottles.
  • Ensure customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs.
  • Collect payment from customers for drinks prepared and served.
  • Use proper judgment and, when necessary, refuse service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive.
  • Conform to the regulations of the ABC (Alcoholic Beverage Control).
  • Must have alcohol awareness training.

Concessions Attendants:

Pay: $16.00/hr

This position is responsible for providing quick and efficient service to customers and a variety of duties relating to cafeteria-style service including cashiering, beer pouring, cold food preparation, stocking counters and steam table, and maintaining sanitation standards.

Cooks:

Pay: $16.00/hr

  • Prepare all food items following standard recipes and procedures within specified time limits.
  • Properly measure and assemble ingredients required for preparing the standard recipes. Cut and/or portion meat, fish and poultry.
  • Use scale to ensure proper portioning of food items and minimize waste of products.
  • Accept or reject ingredients based on quality and quantity.
  • Clean, organize, and maintain walk-in refrigerator, cooler drawers, prep, and dry storage.
  • Maintain work area in a clean, sanitary and safe manner.
  • Understand and comply with food safety and temperature standards.

Suite Attendants:

Pay: $16.00/hr

  • Fulfill opening and closing duties as dictated by management.
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism and service while abiding by River Cats service standards.
  • Replenish food, condiments, service-ware, and utensils, as needed. Continually and consistently clean the suite(s) and pantries.
  • Must be knowledgeable of other food, beverage, and retail outlets within the stadium.
  • Communicate with Supervisors and Management.
  • Work as a team with fellow co-workers and other service departments within the ballpark.
  • Perform and successfully complete tasks and other duties as assigned by management.

Parking Lot Attendants:

Pay: $16.00/hr

  • Ensure motorists abide by parking laws and ordinances.
  • Answer driver questions regarding parking, directions, or similar issues.
  • Wave parking flag to direct vehicles where to park upon arrival and out of the lots when exiting.
  • Provide directions to stadium from parking lots.
  • Responsible for handing and receiving payments from customers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
