Winning applicants must be legally eligible for employment in the United States If an applicant secures a contract, valid immigration status and work authorization must be secured 8 weeks before applicant’s expected start date. Maintaining valid immigration status and work authorization throughout employment with Detroit Opera will be the responsibility of any winning applicant.
The Detroit Opera Orchestra performs approximately 4-6 productions per season: a combination of opera, ballet and concerts with an average of 7 services per production. The Detroit Opera Orchestra has a minimum service guarantee of 45 services per season. The Detroit Opera season typically runs from October to December and March to May.
