Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY :

The PT Tech II, Theater Setup is responsib le for theatre and events set ups, mail distribution, receiving dock duties, parcel and general deliveries. Independently moves and reconfigures furniture and equipment for various events, meetings, or performances at college sites.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Prioritizes printed work orders for the campus events. Sets up, breaks down, or reconfigures staging and other associated furniture for special events or performances as requested Prioritizes printed work orders for campus events. Sets up, breaks down, or reconfigures furniture for campus events, meeti ngs and classrooms as requested Sorts and delivers mail, pa ckages and supplies as assigned Assists in preparation o f outgoing mailings as assigned Performs a variety of general clerical duties to support the department such as assigned mailroom duties, general filing, asset tagging and capital inventory data input as requested by mailro om staff May act as courier on campus as necessary Responsible for other reasona ble, related duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Goo d interpersonal skills required Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds and willingness to move several units of furniture, equip ment, packages and mail parcels Reading and math skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.

WORK SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS :
Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone and other general office equipment Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED

Salary

Hourly Pay Rate is $15.14
