As an Senior Director, you will be responsible for leading a team that designs, implements and operates a global network and site infrastructure for Modernas manufacturing and corporate facilities that help advance our mission of creating life-saving mRNA therapeutics and vaccines that benefit patients.

Here's What Youll Do:

Own and manage Modernas site networking and infrastructure strategy, roadmap and delivery across manufacturing sites and corporate offices.

Collaborate with site and construction management, engineering, cybersecurity and other stakeholders to identify technical requirements and ensure alignment with business and functional objectives.

Ensure high availability and performance of our infrastructure and networking environments, including monitoring, on-call and operations and issue management.

Manage vendor relationships and performance, including contracting, performance against SLAs, operational reviews and evaluation against expectations.

Identify opportunities to improve network architecture, network operational processes, and performance to improve performance, increase scalability, and reduce operational costs.

Drive technical innovation and excellence by researching and implementing new technologies and best practices.

Heres What Youll Bring to the Table:

A minimum of 10 years of experience in site networking, IT infrastructure and software engineering, with a focus on developing scalable and performant networks in the technology, healthcare sector, or life sciences industry.

Deep technical knowledge of systems architecture, engineering principles, and best practices.

Experience in designing and developing highly scalable and performant network architecture and site networking.

Proven experience leading high-performance teams, as well as relevant experience working as a senior individual contributor on complex technical projects.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform technical decisions and track performance.

Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
