Job Description

Key Responsibilities Include:

Analyze processes, products, and components to identify areas for continuous improvement.Develop and oversee customer-specific Quality Plans.Report and analyze customer and process-level quality data weekly to management.Provide technical assistance on product specifications including labels, quality goals, assembly requirements, and performance criteria.Implement and maintain statistical process controls.Monitor and ensure compliance with ISO internal controls.Support production processes with quality assurance.Train QA Technicians, Operations staff, and entry-level Engineers on procedures and systems.Assist operators and technicians using the shop floor system.Manage and analyze Quality Assurance Performance Reports, including process yields, defect/root cause analyses, and corrective actions.Review data to ensure products meet specifications.Drive corrective actions on CARs.Conduct Internal Quality Audits.Lead failure analysis on systemic non-conformances and field returns, implementing corrective actions.Create and manage process documentation, including procedures, alerts, deviations, and purges.Participate in MRB review and disposition processes.Recommend DFM or DFT analyses for quality improvement and cost reduction.Facilitate ECO implementation, including analysis, approval, and verification.Provide NPI support to product teams, suppliers, and customers.Undertake additional responsibilities as needed for business operations.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

* BS degree in electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering

* 5-10 years experience working in an engineering or manufacturing setting preferred

* High initiative to investigate production opportunities and identify root cause and preventative actions.

* Knowledge of statistics and statistical methods required

* Experience in Word and Excel

* Background in a medium to high volume system level assembly and/or SMT manufacturing environment including electrical, mechanical and /or PCA components preferred
