Meet the team:

Shipping the software that powers Latitude’s automated driving products is a challenging job. Our C++ Software Engineers ensure that we are delivering fast, scalable code across all of our product development groups.

What you’ll do: 

  • Develop software in C++ for automated driving products.
  • Integrate components of our autonomy stack to meet requirements of complex, distributed real time systems. 
  • Design and develop the software development infrastructure for autonomous application development. 
  • Communicate design decisions, implementation improvements and project progress within your team and across the organization
  • Develop and extend supporting tools and features of runtime middleware.
  • Write automated tests to improve and validate performance.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field.
  • Strong C++ Coding skills for real time applications. 
  • Strong problem solving skills and algorithm design experience. 

Nice to have:

  • Machine learning experience or experience integrating machine learning components into runtime-constrained systems.
  • Experience with production robots operating in an uncontrolled environment.
  • Experience with autonomous vehicles.
