Supervisory Dentist

Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Dental Branch ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
Collaborates with Chief of Dental to develop goals and objectives that integrate organization and dental objectives. Implements policies and procedures.
Assigns work to employees based on organizational priorities and consideration of difficulty and requirements of assignments, such as experience, training and abilities of staff.
Performs a full range of professional dental tasks of a general and specialty dentistry nature. Including more difficult cases in any or all of the following areas: Oral Surgery, Periodontics, Endodontics, Prosthodontics, Restorative and Pediatric Dentistry, Oral Pathology/Oral Medicine and Preventive Dentistry.
Performs routine duties included providing dental care services to individuals in homes, schools, clinics, job sites, and other community locations within the Service Unit.
