Job Description: SenTek Corporation is seeking a skilled and dedicated In-House Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Columbus, Ohio. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient production of our high-quality sensing devices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology and contribute to the success of a growing company.
Responsibilities:
Assembly and Testing: Perform hands-on assembly and testing of SenTek products according to established procedures and quality standards.
Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with maintenance teams for repairs when necessary.
Quality Control: Conduct rigorous quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications and uphold SenTek's commitment to excellence.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assembly processes, testing results, and any deviations encountered during production.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and quality assurance, to address manufacturing challenges, implement improvements, and contribute to process optimization.
Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing enhancements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or relevant education preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly role, preferably within a technology-driven industry.
Proficient in using hand tools and manufacturing equipment; basic knowledge of electronics and mechanical assembly processes.
Exceptional attention to detail and precision in work to ensure the highest quality products.
Capability to review the Bill of Materials for revisions including updates to components, prices, quantities, etc.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve manufacturing issues independently.
Willingness to adapt to new technologies and processes in a fast-paced environment.
