Mars Wrigley Packaging Co-Op Experience
As a Mars Wrigley Packaging Co-Op, you will gain exposure to the following areas:
- As a Packaging Engineer Co-Op DS1, you are responsible for the below:
- Lead and execute packaging innovation projects under the guidance of Packaging Associates.
- Support ideating and realizing value leadership and cost savings goals.
- Develop detailed packaging specifications to ensure quality materials and best value for money on all packaging components used at our facilities, co-packers and co-manufacturers.
- Perform packaging sustainability assignments to help meet Mars Wrigley sustainability goals.
- Collaborate with cross functional team members including product development, equipment engineering, activity management, finance, industrial engineer and others.
- The Mars Co-Op is a 6 month summer/fall program providing excellent depth of experience with various real world Mars projects.
- What are we looking for?
- We are looking for humble and hungry, agile students who have a drive for results, a desire to learn, and who can quickly build relationships
- Student earning a degree in Packaging Science/Engineering.
- We are looking for students who are passionate about packaging and the consumer products industry
- Preferably candidates will co-op the summer through fall prior to their final graduation date (typically rising seniors)
- This packaging opportunity will be in Hackettstown, NJ.
- Open to students legally authorized to work in the U.S., without the need for current or future work status authorization or visa sponsorship for employment
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug & background screening
