POSITION OBJECTIVE

This position is responsible for developing engaging content that tells a brand and product story that elicits an emotional response from our current and future customers. This position works closely with the cross functional partners to deliver content that supports the brands business objectives. This position is instrumental in building and maintaining brand creative integrity through all Omni channels.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manages the creative process from concept to completion. Works closely with Creative leader to drive concepting, shoot execution and asset management.

• Conceptualizes plans and directs photo shoots, including pre and post-production. Including but not limited to: partnering with producer on casting, photographers, locations, talent.

• Leads and directs shoot crew consisting of photographers, videographers, models, digital techs, stylists, hair and makeup, and assistants.

• Conceptualizes, leads, develops and executes photography and video assets that that meets brand objectives and maintains brand integrity in all channels.

• Translates marketing objectives into clear creative strategies.

• Leads and directs the creative team in the production of marketing collateral for all channels.

• Ensures copy and art are aligned to deliver the brand story.

• Keeps up to date on current trends, fashion, popular culture/social media and competitive landscape.

• Edits images and lead image retouching in partnership with cross functional leaders

• Uses customer data to inform decisions partner in partnership with customer analytics and marketing.

• Partners with cross functional partners on casting, photographers, location, and talent.

• Partners with project managers to establish/maintain product life cycles deliverables and deadlines.

• Ensures brands individuality and standards in all marketing channel.

• Values individuality and the diverse talents of their team. Leads the team by communicating expectations, providing guidance, delivering feedback, and empowering the team to be their best.
This position may be found in multiple brands. Some duties may vary from brand to brand.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS degree required; preferably in Fine Arts, Graphic Arts or a related

• 8+ years of Art Direction/Creative Direction experience

• Fashion and Style experience

• Vertical retail Omni experience a plus

• An intimate understanding of fashion, graphic design, copy, and web best practices/guidelines

• Experience in directing still and video shoots both in studio & on location

• An excellent eye for retail/fashion color management

• MAC proficiency including Adobe Suites

• Excellent communication and organization skills

• Ability to multi-task

• Experience managing a creative team

• Demonstrated ability to solve complicated problems quickly
