PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND Conduct metabolomics analyses of biological specimens using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS), including design, setup, sample preparation, sample analysis, data collection, data analysis, and interpretation of research findings.
Perform various laboratory tests using hematology analyzer, biochemistry analyzer, liquid handler, flow cytometer, plate reader, real time polymerase chain reaction.
Follow general instructions and standard operating procedures to independently conduct experiments and complete routine laboratory work.
Manage samples of the biobank, which contains thousands of biospecimen.
Collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines, including clinicians, clinical research coordinators, data analysts, mathematicians, engineers, and statisticians.
Write abstracts and manuscripts and present findings to an international, diverse audience.
Master's or PhD Degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, or related sciences required.
Advanced degree desirable.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED Hands-on experience with metabolomics, other omics is good to have.
Prior publications are a plus.
Must demonstrate ability to take independent initiative.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate value-added solutions.
