OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION
Under the direct supervision of the Ecommerce Merchandising Manager, and overall direction of the Director of Digital Ecommerce, the Ecommerce Merchandising Coordinator will contribute to the overall success of Ecommerce by working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize and support the day-to-day operation of Jamesperse.com. This role plays an active part in contributing to the growth of the business by assisting in the execution of efficient processes and maintaining attention to detail. This role is focused on improving the on-site experience by creating compelling product listings and overseeing the entire sample management process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in managing online merchandising. Work closely with planning, design and merchandising teams to help create and update online product styles and descriptions.
- Support in maintaining the site's navigation structure, ensuring comprehensive online product coverage and accuracy of data under the guidance of the Ecommerce leadership team.
- Help update and maintain all online content, collaborating with relevant departments for accuracy and consistency.
- Serve as a liaison among fulfillment, customer service, and marketing departments to facilitate a unified customer experience.
- Assist in the collaboration with the creative services team in scheduling and executing product photo production shoots.
- Assist in coordinating and planning email marketing campaigns, in partnership with the Digital Marketing Manager.
- Support the setup, delivery, and reporting of email campaigns, providing insights and analysis to supervisor.
- Act as a supportive role in championing customer experience on the website, assisting in monitoring and testing site usage/performance under the Ecommerce team's direction.
- Assist in running ongoing and ad hoc performance reporting (sales, inventory, and site metrics), helping to consolidate and report on KPIs.
- Help identify, manage, and escalate the need for new online projects, providing support and insights to the Ecommerce team.
- Provide task management and project guidance on internally developed website features.
- Engage in interactions with online marketing programs (SEO/SEM/Affiliate), contributing to the strategies developed by the Ecommerce team.
- Other duties as assigned.
PRINCIPAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
Education:
- BA degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
Work Experience:
- Experience using Microsoft Office Programs, namely Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience using Shopify, preferred.
- Retail and Ecommerce experience in Apparel and or Fashion Industry, preferred.
- Creative writing skills are a plus.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
This position is full time regular, benefit eligible and pays $25 per hour.
