AMIRI is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Director of Graphics, the Senior Graphic Designer will play a pivotal role in the creative process, primarily focusing on our Menswear department. This individual will collaborate closely with the Design team to bring our creative vision to life and ensure our products consistently meet the highest standards of excellence.

 

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Lead the organization and management of design development, including artwork, trims, mock-ups, and prototypes.
  • Create and maintain professional digital and physical presentations, including assembling presentation boards for meetings.
  • Generate color and graphic placement options in alignment with design team objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Design team to research and develop concepts, colors, fabrics, and silhouette designs, adhering to global creative direction.
  • Proactively identify trends and techniques that resonate with the distinctive AMIRI aesthetic.
  • Implement graphic techniques and development strategies tailored to seasonal requirements.
  • Manage and adhere to seasonal briefs, ensuring timely delivery of design projects.
  • Develop detailed tech packs with garment development instructions.
  • Participate in fittings to provide technical input and adjustments as necessary.
  • Contribute to special projects across multiple apparel seasons and divisions.
  • Perform retouching as needed, including cosmetic and clothing adjustments.
  • Establish efficient processes to meet all deadlines in collaboration with other departments.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of design experience in graphic design for apparel.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Graphic Design.
  • Familiarity with graphic print techniques, prints, and garment construction.
