Our practice is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Software Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Incident Management and Video/Photo Shoot with a nice to have experience in Knowledge Management Strategy. Experience in Finance and Accounting domains is a plus. This role involves managing incidents conducting video/photo shoots and contributing to knowledge management strategies. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Location: Atlanta - GA, various or remote.

Responsibilities
• Manage and resolve software incidents to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
• Conduct video and photo shoots to support various projects and initiatives.
• Develop and implement incident management processes to improve response times and resolution effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address software issues promptly.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members on incident management standard processes.
• Use knowledge management strategies to document and share incident resolution procedures.
• Analyze incident data to identify trends and recommend preventive measures.
• Ensure all incidents are logged tracked and resolved in a timely manner.
• Participate in post-incident reviews to identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices in incident management.
• Support the development of training materials for incident management processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of incident management tools and systems.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to understand domain-specific requirements and challenges.
Qualifications
• Possess strong technical skills in incident management and video/photo shoot.
• Demonstrate experience in developing and implementing knowledge management strategies.
• Have a background in finance and accounting domains is a plus.
• Show excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Exhibit strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Display a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Hold a bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field.
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 8/23/2024.
The annual salary for this position is between $55K – $106K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
